63. see a doctor, you might have a metabolic/thyroid issue?
May 15 2009, 23:31:49 UTC 3 years ago
Re: 63
I absolutely agree with this. It could also be something along the lines of polycystic ovaries which also makes it realloy difficult to lose weight. Tell the doctor you want to lose weight and ask for a battery of blood tests to cross out everything. Good luck!3 years ago

Why did he say that to you? I HATE HATE it when people say things that they know will make you feel guilty at FUNERALS. Someone once asked me at my Aunt's funeral, "so what are YOU doing with your life? how are you making a difference?" It's just so unnecessary. But still, i think in your uncle's case, it was coming from a painful place..May 15 2009, 22:18:46 UTC 3 years ago

It could be hypothyroidism. Ask a doctor about it. Also, if you are working out a lot and weren't before then a lot of what was fat before is now muscle. Of course, if your thyroid is low then you might not be able to build muscle as easily as before. Another thing to do besides eating healthier, is to drink a lot of water. It will help keep your metabolism moving, and will flush fat from your body. Also, be sure to take a multivitamin because sometimes the metabolism suffers if there's a nutritional deficiency.May 15 2009, 22:21:58 UTC 3 years ago
14. Sometimes I feel that way, however diaries are for the writer and no one else. Even if no one else finds it interesting it will be worthwhile to you. It is inevitable that you will look back on it and find it dumb. You'll get some amusement out of it! I do not keep a diary but I try to write about my life often. If your life is boring right about your thoughts.
15. Oh how EDGY....wow. I hate people like that.
27. I can't stop laughing. Is The Joker in the romance novels?
51. Please tell him because it is the right thing to do. Sex is expected in marriage and he probably has no idea that you're asexual. Wouldn't you want someone to tell you if you were getting married to them?

Why is it edgy to think that God is bullshit? Is it because of the word "bullshit"? Would "nonsense" work better because it's more polite?3 years ago

</big>TELL HIM!</big>If your positions were reversed, you cannot pretend you would not want to know BEFORE you were married, and therefore legally tied to a person. Here; I'll illustrate. If you wanted kids, but he hated the very idea of them, and had had surgery to prevent it, you would feel that he'd lied to you and cheated you if he did not tell you. If you were a vegan, and he didn't tell you that he had no intention of stopping his carniverous diet for you until after you were married, you would feel badly treated, and disrespected.
If you have any respect for this man, and for yourself at all, you will tell him, and tell him at once. Don't pretend to be something you're not -- which is potentially sexual, -- to a man who, once he is able to attain an erection, is absolutely, and without question GOING to want sex. That is the height of unfairness.
Now, there's no reason you couldn't still marry him, so long as he's got permission to have girlfriends (or boyfriends if he swings that way) outside the marriage. Just make sure everything's above the board, and discussed openly with all parties before you step into a poly arrangement, because if someone starts hiding things or lying about what's going on, things will explode faster than potassium chloride in a pissing contest.
Long story short; Tell him. That's the only sane option.

Re: # 51
This. The only right thing to do is to tell him. Chances are, if he loves you, he doesn't want you to just roll over and allow him to do things you don't like. That's contrary to the point of lovemaking.

2. You're not alone. I think it's really sexy, and also the reason I used to cut was just because I like blood - it had nothing to do with the pain or anything like that.May 15 2009, 22:43:54 UTC 3 years ago
Re: 2
I think for me it was the appeal of it looks wise. Not really a turn on but not always about the pain either. I just found the blood beautiful, I guess.Anonymous

Smoking pot doesn't make someone "one of the bad guys" I know many responsible, intelligent people who are extremely successful, emotionally available and active in their own lives who smoke weed. It may not be for everyone, but guilting your boyfriend and freaking out about it won't help anything. Accept him or move along.May 15 2009, 22:37:58 UTC 3 years ago

41. I get it. I want to receive affection just like anyone else, but I generally don't care too much about being single until thoughts like this get into my head; sometimes I just wish I had someone to dote on. This is probably why I get so affectionate with my friends, idk.

Sweetie, if you're working out that much, it may be that you're toning up instead of losing weight. Did you know that muscle weighs more than fat? It may be that you're losing a lot but gaining it back in muscle. Do you look different? Do you feel different? It may be worth your while visiting the doctor, or consulting a nutritionist/personal trainer if you're still unconvinced.
